What is Cloud Efficiency?
We compare your cloud efficiency data to our global benchmarks and provide you with an objective measure of your cloud usage. If you are using more than 35% of what you spend in the cloud, congratulations! We'll donate $1,000 to the charity of your choice.
Cloud Efficiency is a spend-weighted measure of cloud utilization, telling you how much of your cloud spend you are actually using.
For example, if your cloud efficiency is 25%, that means your are using 25 cents for every dollar you spend on your cloud footprint.
Put another way, you are not using 75 cents of every dollar you spend! That is money you could use to improve profitability, add more team members, or spend on teams offsite ;)
Spend is an imperfect measure of how efficiently you are using your cloud and how well you are managing costs.
Virtasant Helias Cloud Efficiency (TM) is a quantitative, objective assessment of your cloud spend. It tells you how much of what you spend you are actually using across your cloud footprint.
